Northern Connecticut Schools Sweep State Open Indoor Track Team Titles
Athletes from schools in Hartford and Tolland counties fared well Saturday at the State Open at the Floyd Little Athletic Center.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A pair of schools from Hartford County continued their excellence in indoor track Saturday, capturing team titles at the State Open at the Floyd Little Athletic Center.
For the second straight year, and fourth time overall, Hall won the boys team championship, compiling 66 points to easily outdistance the 30 of runner-up Greenwich. The Hall 4 x 400 relay team of Fareed Abu Rabia, Gabriel Sisk, Jonathan York and Samuel Sandler set a new State Open record in that event.
The girls' side was considerably closer, with Bloomfield edging Glastonbury by a 47-41 margin to win the program's third State Open crown, but first since 2019.
