Nutmeg Granted ‘Juntos Avanzamos’ Designation – Celebration

Nutmeg State Financial Credit Union has been granted the “Juntos Avanzamos” designation from the Federation of Community Development Credit Unions. This designation marks their dedication to serving minority and emerging markets throughout the state.

Nutmeg State Financial Credit Union is only the second Credit Union in Connecticut with this designation. With the Spanish translation, “Together We Advance,” the Juntos Avanzamos designation provides Nutmeg with a nationally recognized branding in its mission to help key demographic markets who are often overlooked or ignored when it comes to finances.

Nutmeg State Financial Credit Union will be celebrating this designation with the Federation of Community Development Credit Unions on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 10 am outside their branch in the Orange ShopRite (259 Bull Hill Lane, Orange). The public is welcome with food, giveaways and music broadcast live, on-location with La Bomba Radio.
