Over 13K CT Residents Without Power: Town-By-Town Update

A late-season mix of snow, rain, sleet and high winds has knocked out power to over 13,000 homes and businesses in Connecticut.

CONNECTICUT — Strong winds accompanied a mix of rain, snow and sleet as part of a storm that swept through the western part of Connecticut on Saturday and knocked out power to 13,009 customers.

Winter weather warnings and wind advisories were issued for much of Connecticut, and most of the precipitation is forecast to end by 8 p.m. with temperatures dropping from the 40s to the teens across the day.

Eversource is reporting 11,706 customers without power around 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
