Pilgrim Donates Thousands To Connecticut Shelters, Pantries

CONNECTICUT — Harvard Pilgrim Health Care has announced it has awarded $49,500 in grants to 28 domestic violence and homeless shelters and food pantries across the state of Connecticut.

Funds will be used to provide support, fresh food and meals to community members in need.
Grants have been awarded to the following 28 organizations in Connecticut:

• Community Renewal Team (Homeless Shelters), Hartford
• Cornerstone Shelter, Vernon

• Five Corner Cupboard Food Pantry, East Windsor
• Food Bank of Marlborough, Marlborough
• Holy Family Home and Shelter, Willimantic
• Homes with Hope, Westport
• ImmaCare, Inc., Hartford
• Manchester Area Conference of Churches, Manchester
• My Sister’s Place, Hartford
• New London Area Food Pantry, New London
• New London Homeless Hospitality Center, New London
• New Reach, Inc., New Haven
• Plymouth Food Bank, Plymouth
• Prudence Crandall Center, New Britain
• Safe Futures, New London
• Safe Haven of Greater Waterbury, Waterbury
• Salvation Army Marshall House Shelter, Hartford
• South Park Inn, Hartford
• St. Vincent DePaul Place (Amazing Grace Food Pantry), Middletown
• The Cheshire Community Food Pantry, Cheshire
• The Connection Inc., Middletown
• The Network Against Domestic Abuse, Enfield
• The Open Hearth, Hartford
