Plenty of New Head Coaches Patrolling CT High School Sidelines
More than 50 new head coaches have taken over programs at state high schools this fall.
The fall sports season is underway at high schools throughout Connecticut, and more than 50 new faces are roaming the sidelines under new head coaching assignments. Some are familiar faces in new positions, some have moved from one school to another, and still others are brand new to the wonderful world of coaching.
Of the 56 new coaches reported to Patch by athletic directors, 11 have taken the reins of boys soccer programs and 11 others are heading up girls soccer teams. Patch will update the list as more submissions from ADs are received.
