Popular Meteorologist Departs CT News Station

He had been with Fox61 for nearly three years.

CONNECTICUT — Ryan Breton, a meteorologist with Fox61 for nearly three years, announced last week that he left the news station.

"I’m grateful for my friends, co-workers and weather team," Breton wrote on X. "We did great work. I’m proud to have been part of it!"

Before Fox61, Breton was a meteorologist with WCSH and WLBZ in Maine, where he worked for more than four years.

Rachel Frank, Fox61's Chief Meteorologist, took to X to say that Breton will be missed.

"I would say this is bittersweet, except at the moment I’m just feeling bitter," she wrote jokingly. "Wishing my bestie the best on his next chapter of life."

What the future holds for the devoted Patriots and Nittany Lions fan is not yet known, at least not publicly.

"I’ll have more to share on my next move soon, but first wanted to thank all of you in CT for watching!" Breton wrote.
