UNCASVILLE, CT — It was a record-setting weekend of high school basketball Saturday and Sunday at the Mohegan Sun Arena, with more than 21,000 fans witnessing some amazing games and fantastic finishes.

The only champion from last year to win again in 2019 was the Waterford boys, who moved up to Division II and captured a second straight state title.

No games went into overtime - the ultimate thrill of a championship matchup - but six of the nine games played were decided by single digit margins, and another was exactly 10 points. In one title contest, the winning team led for exactly two seconds.
