This Litchfield resident has a history of using his skills and knowledge to help children with special needs.
LITCHFIELD, CT — Graduation is a major milestone and deserves to be celebrated! That's why Patch and T-Mobile have teamed up to recognize our community's outstanding 2024 graduates.
This submission comes from Kathleen Vermilyea who nominated her grandson Luke Vermilyea of Litchfield, graduating from Central Connecticut University.

He was a recipient of the President’s Citation Award because of his skills and knowledge of helping children with special needs. He modified battery ride on cars for children with physical disabilities.
