Ridgefield Police Looking for Motorist Who Hit Pole and Fled

RIDGEFIELD, CT — A vehicle struck a utility pole in Ridgefield Thursday night, and the police want to know who was driving it.
The Ridgefield Police Department is seeking information on a single motor vehicle accident that occurred Thursday, Feb. 21, at approximately 10:50 p.m. The vehicle struck a utility pole on North Street, breaking it into several pieces. A white Chevy SUV with New York registration plates was seen in the area with front end damage traveling towards North Salem Road. It is unknown if this vehicle was involved.
