Shakeup At the Top In Latest High School Baseball Poll

A new number one team and three new entries into the top 10 mark this week's balloting.

A wild and woolly week on the diamond saw just one team in last week's high school baseball poll maintain the same position in the latest balloting.

Fairfield Prep (10-1) collected 10 of 12 first-place votes to move into the top spot, displacing Daniel Hand (10-1), which dropped to third. Waterford (8-1) moved from fourth to second.

Darien (9-2), Wilton (9-2) and Haddam-Killingworth (11-0) all broke into the top 10. A total of 22 schools received votes.
