Here is the expected timeline of when the snow showers arrive and what we can expect for the weekend in Connecticut.

We're headed into the weekend in Connecticut and for the first time in seemingly forever there are no major rainstorms in the forecast. In fact, dry, sunny and chilly weather is forecast for the entire weekend.
But before we get to the tranquil weekend of weather, Connecticut will see snow showers tonight, largely overnight, which could drop a coating of snow in Connecticut. The snow showers are expected to end before the morning commute. This is really nothing to worry about and for those who love snow, sorry there are no major snowstorms in Connecticut's 7-day weather forecast.
The National Weather Service says, "There will be a chance for snow showers tonight as a cold front moves through the area...

"A coating of snow is possible.... Temperatures will be below normal for this time of year, ranging from the middle 20s to lower 30s. High pressure remains to our west through the weekend. A persistent northwesterly flow will mean the cold temperatures will continue through then. Highs on Friday will be in the middle 30s to near 40. Saturday will be the coldest day during the forecast period with 30s expected region-wide. Slightly warmer readings are expected on Sunday."
