Somewhat Of A Surprise On Top Of Initial Girls Volleyball Poll

CONNECTICUT — Despite receiving five fewer first-place votes than defending Class LL champion Darien, Trumbull compiled enough points to emerge as the front-runner in the initial Connecticut high school girls volleyball coaches poll of the 2023 season.

Six different schools received top nods from the panel of 29 coaches who cast their ballots.

Here are the top 10, with first-place votes in parentheses, as well as all other programs earning support.
