Sonic Express Headed For Torrington After Approval

The Planning and Zoning Commission OKs drive-thru restaurant, which will share the site with a gas station and convenience store.

TORRINGTON, CT —A Sonic Express Drive-In restaurant appears headed for Torrington after the city's Planning and Zoning Commission approved an application for the establishment, according to the Republican-American.

There are currently four other Sonic locations in Connecticut, New Milford, Milford, Wallingford and Manchester, and this new one located at 861 Migeon Ave. will be a bit different.

The Sonic Express Drive-In will be located inside a gas station and convenience store but will include a small area for dining in besides the drive-thru, the Rep-Am reports.

If you're not familiar with Sonic, according to its website, it offers a variety of burgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, kids meals, snacks and ice cream.
