Starling Physicians Hosts Open House at New Glastonbury Office

Starling Physicians celebrated the grand opening of its new Glastonbury location with an official ribbon cutting ceremony in partnership with the CT River Valley Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, September 14.

Medical providers throughout the community came to tour the facility, meet the Starling team, and learn about the wide range of services available at the 10,000+ square foot facility. Open house attendees enjoyed picnic treats at each specialty, dinner from a pizza truck, and coffee and dessert to complete the evening.

"We were pleased to celebrate our newest location and provide medical professionals with personal tours of the facilities so that they could gain a deeper understanding of the wide range of specialties and services that we provide at this location,” said Dr. Jarrod Post, Chief Medical Officer at Starling Physicians. “This new location in Glastonbury’s premier medical complex allows us to continue building relationships with patients in the area and provides even greater convenience, comfort, and access to a top specialists.”

The new location houses many Starling specialists who provide comprehensive care in the following areas: Allergy, Cardiology, Pulmonary, Rheumatology, Podiatry, Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine, Surgery, and Physical and Occupational Therapy. There also is walk-in Radiology services for all ages. Internal Medicine providers still see patients at 704 Hebron Avenue in Glastonbury.

“Glastonbury is very proud of this medical complex where Starling now has a presence,” said Dr. Stewart "Chip" Beckett of the Glastonbury Town Council. “For Glastonbury and all of Eastern Connecticut, we now have superior medical access that 15 years ago we never could have envisioned. We are happy to welcome them to the neighborhood.”

The office is conveniently located at 289 Western Blvd. off Route 2 and Hebron Avenue in the Gateway Medical Complex. There is free onsite parking and easy access to the facility. Currently, over two dozen providers treat patients at this location. The office has been open and treating patients since May 1. Appointments can be made by calling 860-368-2270.
