Popular CT News Reporter Gets Upgrade To Anchor
Kyle Jones, NBC Connecticut's reporter based in New Haven, is heading for the anchor chair.

CONNECTICUT — A popular TV news reporter is moving up from a street beat to the anchor seat.
Kyle Jones, NBC Connecticut’s reporter based in New Haven, will soon be stationed inside the studio. She has been named anchor of the Saturday 6 p.m. and 11 p.m news on NBC Connecticut, beginning next weekend.
It won't be the first time that Jones has sat in the Big Chair. She was the anchor for ABC affiliate WJCL in the Savannah, GA, area prior to her current gig, according to her LinkedIn page.

"It’s been 3.5 years, time to upgrade the resume," Jones posted when she broke the news to her social media followers Tuesday.
Jones spent nearly 4 years as a reporter for WMTW-TV in Maine before landing the job at the ABC station. Before that, the University of Maryland and Hampton University graduate spent over eight years working in public relations in the Washington, D.C. Metro Area.
