WFSB predicts there will be a higher storm chance on Friday.

“As a cold front moves through during the afternoon/evening hours, there’s another chance for a few storms,” WFSB reports. “They’ll be isolated but could be a bit stronger than today, possibly strong or even severe with downpours and lightning.”

WFSB predicts this weekend will be dry with seasonable temperatures both Saturday and Sunday.

“By July-standards, it will be pleasant... mugginess will not be much of a factor at all. Overall, a great weekend for any outdoor plans!” WFSB reports.

The National Weather Service predicts the weekend will be mostly sunny, with highs in the mid-80s.
