Student Hospitalized After Being Hit By School Bus In New Britain: Report
A student has been hospitalized after being hit by a school bus in New Britain, according to media reports.

NEW BRITAIN, CT — A student was taken to a hospital after being hit by a school bus Friday afternoon in New Britain, according to media reports.
NBC Connecticut reports the CREC Academy of Science and Innovation student was hit during dismissal near the high school on Slater Road. The student was then taken to CT Children's Medical Center for treatment.
According to WTNH News 8, there were no other students on the bus at the time of the crash. The extent of the child's injuries are currently unknown.

NBC Connecticut reports the student was struck by a First Student-contracted bus, one of several transportation companies contracted by the high school.
