Teen Girl Made Threat To Connecticut High School: Police
The teen made the threat through the social media platform Snapchat, police said.
CROMWELL, CT — A 16-year-old Middletown girl is facing multiple charges after being accused of making a threat to Cromwell High School Wednesday, according to local police.
The teen made the threat through the social media platform Snapchat, police said.
She was referred to juvenile court for the charges of breach of peace, first-degree threatening, and harassment.

"Officers have also confirmed that the juvenile had no means of carrying out any threats," according to the Cromwell Police Department.
They added: "The Cromwell Police Department takes any threat seriously and the safety of the school, students and faculty are our utmost concern. There is no threat to the public."
