Here's a list of Connecticut grocery stores closed for Thanksgiving 2021 and, for those who forgot a thing or two, here's what's open.

CONNECTICUT — While this Thanksgiving, the second of the pandemic, may not resemble very large traditional gatherings in previous years for many, one thing is a constant. The mad dash to the store for that one forgotten staple. (Cranberry sauce, maybe?)
Hopefully, if you're planning a Turkey Day dinner you're all set, but just in case, many grocery stores are open on Thanksgiving, though most close early. So to help folks to plan, and where to go at the last minute, here is a list of Thanksgiving grocery store hours for Thanksgiving 2021.

Grocery Stores Open On Thanksgiving & Hours (Make sure to double-check with your neighborhood store as some hours may change.)

Acme: Open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
C-Town: Independently-owned, but many locations are open from 7 to 4 p.m. some with later closing times. Check your store here.

IGA: Independently-owned throughout the state. Check your store hours here.
Price Chopper: Closes at 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving
Stop & Shop: Per Stop & Shop corporate, all 90 stores in CT will be open regular hours, but double-check your store's location, as some open earlier than others and close later.
Whole Foods: Many Connecticut locations are open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. but the hours vary widely. Westport for example, is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the Glastonbury store is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Click here to check your store's hours.
