These 32 CT Businesses Had Liquor License Suspensions In 2019
A total of 32 establishments had their liquor licenses suspended by the Connecticut Liquor Control Commission since Jan. 1, 2019.
CONNECTICUT — A total of 32 Connecticut businesses had their liquor licenses suspended in 2019 thus far, according to public information from the Department of Consumer Protection's Liquor Control Commission.
Suspensions ranged from one day to four days and fines between $100 and $2,500 were meted out for various offenses, including gambling, brawls and or disturbances, selling liquor to minors, and minors in barrooms.
The establishments cited statewide, with number of days suspended and/or fines and the reasons for the suspension and or fines, are listed below.

7-ELEVEN in Windsor Locks on May 6 for permit to be recorded, permit to be hung in plain view, and sale to minor. They paid a $500 fine.
MONROE SPIRITS SHOP in Monroe on April 29 for sale to a minor. They paid a $500 fine.

CIALES GROCERY II in Hartford on April 22-24 for grocery store beer permit, conduct of permit premises, restrictions on sales and purchases by permittees, purchase for resale, and disposing of liquor without a permit. They paid a $500 fine.
PINNACLE PACKAGE in New Britain on April 22 for hours and days of closing. They paid a fine of $500.
C & C WINE & SPIRITS in Berlin on April 8 for failure to cooperate and sale to a minor. They paid a $1,200 fine.
HOPE STREET MINI MART in Stamford on April 8 for sale to a minor. They paid a $500 fine.
MILENIO'S in Danbury on March 26 for sanitation, conduct of permit premises-brawls, disturbances, and restrictions on drink promotions. They paid a $1,600 fine.
GIOVANNIS RESTAURANT in Windsor on March 19 for conduct of permit premises-gambling, age statement forms and refilling. They paid a $500 fine.

ZONA AZUL in Danbury on March 5 for conduct of permit premises-brawls, disturbances and hours and days of closing. They paid a $750 fine.
TOWN AND COUNTRY SPIRIT SHOPPE in Meriden on Feb. 26 for sale to a minor. They paid a $500 fine.
MALONEY'S PUB in Meriden on Feb. 25 for sanitation, sale to minor and minor barroom. They paid a $500 fine.
TROPICAL MARKET in Bristol on Feb. 4-8 for grocery store beer permit, prices properly posted, permit to be recorded, conduct of permit premises, conduct of permit premises-brawls, disturbances, and hours and days of closing.
DE CASTILLO GROCERY in Bridgeport on Feb. 4-6 for grocery store beer permit, permit to be hung in plain view and conduct of permit premises-gambling. They paid a $750 fine.
UNCASVILLE DINER in Uncasville on Jan. 28 for sale to a minor and paid a $500 fine.
EASY MARKET in Norwich on Jan. 28 for sale to a minor and paid a $250 fine.

PCG MARKET in Jewett City on Jan. 14 for permit to be recorded, permit to be hung in plain view and sale to a minor. They paid a $500 fine.
OAKDALE PIZZA in Oakdale on Jan. 8 for permit to be recorded and sale to a minor and paid a fine of $500.
PLAZA LIQUORS in East Berlin on Jan. 7-Jan. 9 for sale to minor and paid a fine of $750.
JC'S PLACE in Meriden on Jan. 7-Jan. 8 for sale to minor and paid a $750 fine.
THE RIVERS EDGE PUB & GRILL in Beacon Falls on Jan. 7 for sale to minor and paid a fine of $750.
