A new report ranks the top 169 schools in Connecticut on how they best prepare students for college. Where did your school rank?
CONNECTICUT — A new report by Niche.com, which crunches all kinds of data, especially involving schools has released a new list for 2019 that shows which schools are the best at preparing students for college.
The report looks at what it says are the top 169 schools in Connecticut when it comes to helping students excel in college. All of the top 169 schools received either an A+, A, B+, and or B for its overall ranking on the topic. Schools that were not ranked in the top 169 received a B- or lower grade, according to Niche.com.
So how did Niche.com determine which schools are the best at preparing students for college?

According to Niche.com, "The 2019 Best College Prep Public High Schools is based on rigorous analysis of data from the U.S. Department of Education along with test scores, college data, and ratings collected from millions of Niche users. Learn where our data comes from."
Niche.com is a big fan of private schools in Connecticut as the top 15 schools are all private schools. The first public school to crack the list is New Canaan High School at No. 16.
