Holiday weekend

The National Weather Service is predicting dry and pleasant weather for Friday through Father’s Day on Sunday. It will be sunny each day, with high temperatures reaching around 80 degrees.

“As we see it now, the upcoming weekend looks great!” WFSB reports. “Saturday will be dry with plenty of sunshine and a northwesterly breeze. Then Sunday, as we celebrate Dad and welcome in summer with the solstice (at 4:24 a.m.), the weather cooperates! While the day starts bright we’ll see a mix of sun and clouds during the afternoon. Highs will be near or just above 80 both days and feeling very comfortable with low humidity.”
