Town-By-Town Snow Totals Released For Both Storms In CT: How Much Did You Get?
Below are the latest unofficial snowfall totals as provided by the National Weather Service for the Jan. 17-18, 2026 storms.
Here is the good news, there are only 62 days until spring, but the bad news is winter is showing no signs of letting up this week.
On Tuesday, the high temperature will only be in the 20s and by the weekend daytime highs are only going to be in the teens, and there is already talk on social media about the next big snowstorm next Sunday. For the record, the National Weather Service shows a 30 percent chance of snow with a high temperature around 15 degrees.
WFSB 3 TV meteorologists offers us this advice about the freshly fallen snow. "Move the snow you want to move because it will become hard as a rock overnight."

Colder weather is arriving soon
"Arctic air and breezy conditions return for next weekend - The feel Saturday morning could range from -15 to -5, and feel in the single digits during the day. High temperatures Saturday will be in the low 20s, dropping to the teens for Sunday. Sunday’s forecast high temperature of 16 would be the coldest we’ve seen so far this season. As such, we’ve decided to declare Saturday and Sunday *First Alert Weather Days*. Both days, morning wind chill values could be at or below zero," WFSB 3 TV meteorologists said.
