STORRS, Conn. – The women’s basketball game between the University of Connecticut and Notre Dame for the 2020-21 season has been called off due to Notre Dame's "need to restructure its schedule because of COVID-19."

UConn and Notre Dame were set to enter the first of a four-year series agreement this season. With the postponement, the teams will add the game to the end of the series in 2024-25.

This season will be the first the Huskies and Fighting Irish won't compete in a regular season game since 2013-14. Including the postseason, the last time the teams did not face each other in a season was 1994-95.
