Unanimous Top Choice Heads Final Field Hockey Poll Of Regular Season
Field hockey teams across Connecticut are winding down the regular season this week, with state tournament action beginning Nov. 7.
CONNECTICUT — Heading into the final few days of regular season competition, Darien was unanimously selected by a panel of coaches as the top high school field hockey team in Connecticut.
The Blue Wave collected all six first-place votes to easily outdistance Guilford and Wilton, which tied for second in the latest balloting.
Here are the top 10, with last week's ranking in parentheses, as well as all other teams receiving support.
