Vice President Kamala Harris is scheduled to attend a roundtable discussion on reproductive rights this week in Connecticut.

CONNECTICUT — Vice President Kamala Harris is scheduled to visit Connecticut Wednesday and participate in a roundtable discussion on reproductive rights with Democratic U.S. Rep Jahana Hayes.
Central Connecticut State University President Zulma Toro announced the visit in an email to the school community, according to the News-Times. National Planned Parenthood President Alexis McGill Johnson will also be at the discussion.
Hayes is seeking a third term representing Connecticut's 5th Congressional District. She will face off against former Republican State Sen. George Logan in what is expected to be the state's closest congressional race.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has run several anti-Logan ads and cast him as a candidate that would support a national abortion ban. Logan told the Hartford Courant that he is pro-choice.
