Walden Environmental Engineering Makes Key Hire to Help EHS Efforts
David Garner, CSP Joins Flourishing EHS Group, Effective Immediately; Will Help Lead and Expand EHS in Connecticut

Walden announced today that David Garner has officially joined the firm as the newest Director in its EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) Group.
Garner comes to Walden from a well-known international manufacturer in the food and beverage industry that specializes in whey-based nutritional solutions. While there, he managed all EHS&S activities for three manufacturing sites that saw their injury and incident rates decline significantly under his watch. As a result of his actions, the organization saw a significant reduction in expenses associated with injuries, which provided the firm with significant bottom-line cost savings.
As a leader in numerous facets of EHS in manufacturing with over 10 years of experience, Garner has been instrumental in helping organizations build enviable cultures in support of EHS initiatives. His efforts included spearheading the modification and implementation of safety programs, directing corporate sustainability actions, managing audits by regulatory agencies, supervising EHS staff and deploying industrial hygiene testing.
