We All Scream: Rich Farm Ice Cream to Open in Brookfield
It's the second commercial tenant in the Village, following the launch of a Subway Restaurant last month.

BROOKFIELD, CT --- Phase One of Brookfield Village is nearly complete, and that means... ice cream!
Rich Farm Ice Cream will open its doors on Monday, May 14. It's the second commercial tenant in the Village, following the launch of a Subway Restaurant last month. An Italian restaurant, nail salon and clothing boutique are en route.
Rich Farm Ice Cream originated in Oxford, and has one other franchise in Placentia, California, according to the company's website. The stores specialize in hard ice cream with upwards to 100 different flavors.

When completed, Brookfield Village will consist of four buildings with 72 apartments and 26,000 square feet of commercial space on the first level. In 2015 we reported that Brookfield Village, LLC received a $4.5 million loan for 48 affordable housing units.
