Weather Forecast Prompts Schedule Change For 3 CIAC Events
Three big events slated for Saturday have been postponed by CIAC officials due to a forecast of inclement weather.
Due to the forecast of inclement weather, there have been some schedule changes for three CAS-CIAC events originally scheduled for Saturday, March 2.
The CIAC gymnastics State Open has been postponed, and will now be held Wednesday, March 6 at New Milford High School. Warmups will begin at 3 p.m. and competition will start at 4 p.m.
The Connecticut high school cheerleading championships will now be held Sunday at the Floyd Little Athletic Center in New Haven. The schedule of events remains the same, with competition beginning at 9 a.m.

The CIAC Invitational team bowling tournament has also been postponed. The event will now be held Saturday, March 9 at the Bowl-O-Rama in Newington beginning at 10 a.m.
