Weekend Forecast Takes A Turn For The Worse: CT Weather
Here is a live look at travel conditions across Connecticut and there are several delays currently.
CONNECTICUT — The weekend weather forecast for Connecticut will feature periods of rain, it may be heavy at times too, and a big change in temperature. Temps may approach 70 degrees on Saturday afternoon. Connecticut could even see a thunderstorm late tonight.
If you have outdoor weekend plans it appears Saturday afternoon and early Sunday afternoon will be dry, but rain is likely early Saturday morning and Sunday evening. More rain is expected on Monday.
The week ahead weather forecast also looks unsettled with more rain expected on Wednesday and Thursday. The National Weather Service says, today "will feature clouds along with some spotty drizzle in a few places as temperatures will only climb into the 50s closer to the coast, and near 60, or in the lower 60s across far western sections."

"Becoming breezy, especially closer to the coast during this evening. Showers will develop by late this evening across western sections and move east during the overnight. There will likely be
a period of moderate rain along with the slight chance of a thunderstorm. Temperatures should remain steady, or rise slightly during tonight as warmer air filters in from the south and southwest.
"Showers should push east of the area during Saturday as a cold front pushes through early on. The front should settle far enough to the south that the chances of rain will diminish early in the
day. The afternoon should mainly be dry with clouds still lingering across much of the area. Overall temperatures should be warmer, especially across interior sections where there may be a
few breaks of sun," the National Weather Service states.
