WILMINGTON, VT — A Connecticut man was killed Sunday after being thrown from a motorboat in the Harriman Reservoir in Wilmington, Vt., Fox 61 reports. Police said they received reports around 2:30 p.m. of a boat collision with two people in the water, one of which was unconscious.
According to Fox 61, recreational boaters helped police find the two people in the water. Officers gave CPR and other life-saving measures to Thomas Centinaro, 67, of Wolcott, however he was pronounced dead at a landing zone where he was to be intercepted by Life Star.
The boat Centinaro was onboard likely struck an underwater rock, which threw two people into the water, reports WCAX 3 TV. The second person onboard wasn't injured. Adjacent boaters pulled the two men from the water, WCAX 3 TV reports.
