Wood-N-Tap Chain Adding 10th Connecticut Restaurant, 11th Overall
Wood-N-Tap is adding another location to its pub and restaurant empire.
CONNECTICUT — The Wood-N-Tap pub and restaurant chain will have 10 in the state and 11 overall once its new location in Groton is complete.
The local Planning and Zoning Commission on July 9 endorsed the latest Wood-N-Tap for a parcel on 117 Long Hill Road.
The plans call for an upgraded restaurant building with a patio that will take the place of a former Ninety-Nine restaurant.

The strategy is to use the existing structure of the building while updating the exterior appearance and adding additional indoor and outdoor seating areas on the southwest side of the building, according to the site plan.
The parking lot will feature electric vehicle charging stations and "clearer circulation throughout the site," according to the site plan.
