Young Boy Hurt After Falling Off Ski Lift: Reports

NEW HARTFORD, CT — A child is recovering after falling off a ski lift at a popular Connecticut ski resort over the weekend, according to multiple reports.

The child reportedly fell Sunday afternoon at the Ski Sundown resort in New Hartford.

According to WFSB Channel 3, the child was 6 years old and a New Hartford Fire Department ambulance took the child to a Lifestar helicopter, which took him to the Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford.

WVIT Channel 30 reports the child fell about 15 feet off the lift at the "bunny hill," with the extent of his injuries unknown.
