According to the alert, sent out at 5:39 p.m., Avon police are looking for 15-year-old Brendaly Melendaz, who is described as a white Hispanic female with black hair and brown eyes. Police said she stands 5-feet-6-inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. There was no clothing information available, but she has been missing since Monday, according to the alert. Anyone with information on Melendaz's whereabouts is asked to call the Avon Police Department at 860-409-4200.
