Avon Parents Urged To Attend Teen Depression Forum
The Avon Free Public Library Friday will present a virtual event called 'Anxiety and Depression in Adolescents.'
AVON, CT — Parents concerned about the mental health of their adolescent children should participate in a free, virtual program Friday hosted by the Avon Free Public Library.
The event will be hosted by Dr. Aaron Krasner, a child and adolescent psychiatrist.

It will take place at 2 p.m. and log-in information is available upon registration.
"Krasner will inform parents about the anxiety and depression in adolescents that we hear so much about. Is it COVID? Social Media? What can parents do?" reads an event announcement.

Krasner graduated from Northwestern’s Feinberg School of Medicine and trained at Columbia’s Child and Adolescent Psychiatry resident program.
He is the president of the American Society of Adolescent Psychiatry and practices in Wilton.
