Sewer Bill Deadline Looms In Avon

AVON, CT — Avon officials are reminding residents and business owners that sewer payments are due by the end of April to avoid penalties.

The first installment of 2026 residential sewer bills and the full amount of 2026 commercial sewer bills were due April 1, according to the town.

Payments must be received or postmarked by April 30 (Thursday) to be considered on time.

Officials said any payments received after that date may be subject to penalties.

Residents and businesses can pay online through the town’s revenue collector website.

To access a bill, users must search using the parcel number listed on their statement.

Once located, bills are identified under “Res Sewer/2026” or “Comm Sewer/2026.”

Users must open the bill detail view to see the correct amount due, as listings may display a $0.00 balance before April 1.
