Marine Cargo Filer Among 33 New Businesses Registered In Avon In July

AVON, CT — Thirty-three new businesses registered with the state in Avon in July, according to the Connecticut Business Registry. The most unusual entry was Halcyor Transformation Solution LLC, which registered under the marine cargo handling category at 40 Parsons Way on July 27.

Elder care stood out as a theme, with four separate companies, Legacy Home Care, Summit Home Care, Noble Home Care and Heritage Home Care, all registering as home care services at the same Avon Meadow Lane address between July 10 and July 17. Two related investment firms, Ironwood Capital Management VI SBIC LLC and Ironwood Capital Advisors LLC, also registered at the same Nod Road suite, while Colored By Gill LLC and HK Hair LLC brought two more beauty salons to town.

State registration marks when a business files paperwork with the Secretary of the State, not necessarily when it opens to customers, so some of these ventures may not yet be operating at the addresses listed.
