Make-Your-Own T-Shirts At Avon Library This Week

AVON, CT — The Avon Free Public Library is inviting patrons to get creative Friday with two make-your-own T-shirt sessions in the library's Makerspace.

The workshops will be held Friday, Aug. 21, with the first session running from 10:30 a.m. to noon and the second from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

Participants will be able to create their own T-shirt designs using the Makerspace's Cricut Maker, sublimation printer and heat press.

Designs can incorporate artwork, text, images and other elements, according to the library.

Registration is required, and participants are asked to register for only one of the two available sessions.

The program is being offered through the Avon Free Public Library.
