AVON, CT — Max Hospitality is expanding its presence in the Farmington Valley with a new Max Burger restaurant opening Tuesday, Sept. 15, in Avon.
The restaurant will open at 70 East Main St., bringing Max Burger's menu of burgers, sandwiches, American fare, cocktails, beer, wine and shakes to town.
The opening marks the latest location for a restaurant concept that Max Hospitality has operated for 17 years.
"We've always believed that a great burger restaurant should be about more than just the burger," Max Hospitality President and CEO Scott Smith said. "It should be a place that feels energetic, welcoming, and fun, a place you want to come back to."
Managing Partner James Stone will lead the Avon restaurant.
"We're thrilled to bring Max Burger to Avon and become part of such a wonderful community," Stone said. "We've assembled an incredible team and created a restaurant we hope quickly becomes a favorite gathering place."
The opening expands Max Hospitality's existing presence in the Farmington Valley. The company also operates Max a Mia Ristorante in Avon.
Max Burger describes its concept as a take on the neighborhood burger restaurant, with a menu centered on burgers and sandwiches along with other American dishes and a selection of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks.
