AVON, CT — Adults looking to learn more about digital literacy can help local Girl Scouts earn a badge by attending one of three free sessions at the Avon Free Public Library.
Girl Scouts of Connecticut is sponsoring the sessions, which will be held in the library's board room, 281 Country Club Road. No registration or materials are required, according to an event notice.
The sessions are scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 5 to 7 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 19, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
The program is intended for adults interested in learning more about digital literacy.
By attending, participants will also help Girl Scouts complete requirements toward earning a badge, according to organizers.
No advance registration is necessary, and residents can simply show up for one of the sessions.
The event is sponsored by Girl Scouts of Connecticut and is not sponsored by the Avon Free Public Library.
