Applicants: any and all Avon High School students, faculty and staff may enter. Open submission period: now until June 17, 2011. Sites to photograph: whether inside or out (call ahead if you plan on taking interior images) Derrin House; Living Museum; Pine Grove School House; Avon Congregational Church; Memorial United Methodist Church; St. Anns Church; St. Matthew Lutheran Church; Valley Community Baptist Church; West Avon Congregational Church; Avon Free Public Library; Avon Town Offices (formerly Ensign Bickford) Governor's House Guard Buildings and Grounds; Heublein Tower; Stub Pond; Avon Greenway; Secret Lake Area; Countryside Park; Canal Aqueduct Park and Vestiges/Remnats of the Canal (some remain) Each entrant may submit up to 10 images, 8 megapixel or higher resolution is preferred. Applicants can come up with just about anything. Submissions will be put in an envelope in the main office. Three winners will have their images turned into postcards, available for sale locally. Review and judging, final review and judging will take place June 18.
