Avon Village, marketplace and home to many unique and historical businesses, is celebrating its 40^th Anniversary this September. In honor of it’s 1972 establishment, Avon Village’s birthday celebration will have a 70s theme.  Meet three village businesses that were started in the 70s as well:

The Eagle’s Nest, a specialty store nestled in Avon Village, was founded in 1976.  Owner William Guzzi has a wide variety of old and new coins for trading and collecting. The Eagle’s Nest specializes in American currency, and also has coin-collecting resources for sale.
