Avon Village: Three Businesses from the 1970s

Avon Village, marketplace and home to many unique and historical businesses, is celebrating its 40th Anniversary this September. In honor of it’s 1972 establishment, Avon Village’s birthday celebration will have a 70s theme.  Meet three village businesses that were started in the 70s as well:

The Eagle’s Nest, a specialty store nestled in Avon Village, was founded in 1976.  Owner William Guzzi has a wide variety of old and new coins for trading and collecting. The Eagle’s Nest specializes in American currency, and also has coin-collecting resources for sale.

Petrini Framing & Art, Farmington Valley’s leading gallery and custom framing shop for over 30 years, offers original fine art, limited edition prints, and framing services.  Established in 1978, Petrini Framing & Art hopes to meet all of your fine art needs.  http://petriniframingandart.com/
