January 23, 2012—Nathan Accounting Group, LLC of Avon, CT has merged with Daniel R. Kaufman, CPA, LLC of Middletown, CT. The combined firm will retain the name Nathan Accounting Group, LLC and the main location of Nathan Accounting Group will remain at 200 Fisher Drive, Avon. The 871 Newfield Street, Middletown, CT offices of Daniel R. Kaufman, CPA, LLC will be the new second location of the Nathan Accounting Group, LLC.
Daniel Kaufman, CPA, the main principle of the former firm, is a new principal of the Nathan Accounting Group. Daniel has been accredited in business valuation through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and certified in business valuation through the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Kaufman provides tax and accounting services with a focus on closely held businesses in a wide variety of industries. He also provides services related to family tax planning issues, tax related issues, buy and sell agreements, and mergers and acquisitions. “I am excited to be a part of this dynamic organization, and I'm looking forward to the increased level of service I will be able to offer my clients,” Kaufman said.
