Avon Announces Presidential Primary Information
While the presidential hopefuls are already finalized, the primary will take place Tuesday, April 2.

AVON, CT — Avon officials Monday released information on how locals can vote in the upcoming presidential preference primaries on Tuesday, April 2.
While Democratic incumbent President Joe Biden and Republican Donald Trump have already secured their party nominations, the primaries must take place as scheduled.
Polls will be open from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the three polling locations:
District 1: Avon High School
District 2: Thompson Brook School
District 3: Roaring Brook School.

Visit portaldir.ct.gov/sots/lookup.aspx to find a polling location or to check registration status and party enrollment.
Only registered voters enrolled with the Democratic and Republican parties are eligible to vote.

The deadlines have passed to change your party, enroll in a party, or register to vote for this primary.
