Update: Surveillance Photos Released in Avon Bank Robbery
The TD Bank on West Main Street was robbed by a man on Sunday afternoon.
Avon police are looking for an unknown man who entered the TD Bank at 255 West Main St. and robbed the bank by displaying a black handgun.
The robbery happened at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.
The man was wearing denim jeans, a hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, a baseball hat with a tan colored rim, and his face was covered with a dark colored bandana.

He fled the scene in what is described as an unusual looking, top heavy, black SUV and is believed to have traveled east on Route 44.
The amount taken is still being determined at this time.
