Avon BoF Recount Shows New Numbers, Same Results

The recount took place last week, with no changes to the Nov. 7 election outcome.

AVON, CT — A recent recount of the Avon municipal elections for the Avon Board of Finance revealed new vote totals, but no new results.

Due to state statures, a recount of the Nov. 7 elections was required as the total vote count was less than a 20-vote difference between two of the candidates.

Below are the results from the recount for all finance board hopefuls (winners bolded):
