Avon Boy Scouts Holding Bottle and Can Drive

Redeemable cans and bottles piling up? Please donate them to Avon Boy Scout Troop 274’s quarterly Can and Bottle Drive.

This drive will be on Saturday, Sept. 12 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Avon High School, 510 West Avon Road.

While you’re there, get your car washed too!

Proceeds will benefit the 2016 high adventure scout contingents to Florida Sea Base and the California / Yosemite adventure.

Avon Boy Scout Troop 274 has over 100 active scouts. The troop carries out many service projects in the community including displaying over 200 American Flags on Route 44 several times a year. The troop is proud to be active in the local community and elsewhere.
