Avon Church Dinner To Benefit Habitat For Humanity
The Nov. 3 event is part of the church's regular 'First Friday Dinner' series.
AVON, CT — A local church's monthly community dinner will also raise some cash to help folks move into new homes.
The Avon Congregational Church's monthly "First Friday Dinner" is at the 6 W. Main St. church on Friday, Nov. 3, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
It will feature a menu of beef Bourguignon, buttered noodles with fresh herbs, tossed salad, fresh baked dinner rolls and the church's popular “dessert buffet,” which includes coffee and tea.

Cost is $17 per person. Take-out is available.
A percentage of the proceeds goes to Habitat for Humanity, which works with qualifying clients toward the construction of new homes.
