Avon Church To Host Book Sale Fundraiser This Weekend
It will take place on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 20–21, with most items under $3.
AVON, CT — A wide selection of discounted books and media will be available this weekend at a used book sale hosted at St. Ann’s Church.
The sale will take place in the church hall at 289 Arch Road.
Organizers said the event will feature current titles, children’s books, puzzles, vinyl albums, audiobooks on CD, music CDs, movies, and items from the Booktique collection.

Most items will be priced under $3.
The sale opens Friday, Feb. 20, from 4 to 7 p.m. with a $5 entry fee. It continues Saturday, Feb. 21, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Snow dates are scheduled for Feb. 27 and 28.
Residents looking to donate gently used books and other items may do so at the church hall today, Feb. 18, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Thursday, Feb. 19, from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Proceeds from the sale will support the St. Ann’s Scholarship Fund.
