Avon Church Hosting 'Frozen' Party

AVON, CT — As any parent with young children can attest, the power of Disney's "Frozen" is still strong and, lets just say, the songs stick in your head for a bit.

This Saturday, the Avon Congregational Church is hosting a special fund-raiser "Frozen" party in which those beloved sisters, Ana and Elsa, will be in attendance.

With New England still enjoying winter, this event will have ice-theme winter decor, photos with the two sisters, adult and kid-friendly food, singalongs and a "variety of fun activities."

Even better, children are urged to come decked out in their favorite frozen costumes.

The event is from 4 to 6 p.m. at the church, which is located at 6 W. Main St., Avon.

Tickets are $15 per person and may be purchased on the church's website, www.avon-church.org or a check may be made out to ACC and sent to 6 W. Main St., Avon, CT, 06001.
